Aquaman’s very own Jason Momoa has given his tick of approval to his Madame Tussauds Sydney Aquaman wax figure whilst at the exclusive movie premiere on Wednesday evening.
Jumping barriers to come face-to-face with his wax double, the DC Comics heartthrob circled the figure, eyeing out the intricate detail and intense facial expression.
Of meeting his wax figure, Jason said, “Art in any form is amazing. This wax figure, it’s really impressive. The work of the artists is just uncanny. It’s trippy. You guys did a great job, it’s beautiful.”
The star playfully stroked the wax figure’s hair in delight, which took three months for the Madame Tussauds studio team to insert, strand by strand. Jason then gave the life-size wax figure the lei from his neck, which was earlier given to him by a fan on the blue carpet.
Jason Momoa’s Aquaman wax figure is now part of the family here at Madame Tussauds Sydney, ready and waiting to greet guests as part of the recently launched Justice League: A Call for Heroes interactive experience.
